You are absolutely amazing at what you do and we will always be grateful for you. Yesterday, while taking Luna & JeT’adore for their check ups at Chatham Animal Clinic (where we got them spayed and nuetered) Dr. Rohrig examined them a little closer than usual, asked where we got them from and couldn’t get over how healthy and “on point” they both were. She had a client that had lost her Persian (moved here from Texas) and I immediately pulled out my phone and pulled up Ghostcat Manor. She took down all your information and said she will highly recommend you to her client and others if asked. We have a huge problem with backyard breeders in this area and when the 2 of them came in to her office, she was in awe to see actual healthy persians being persians.

I had the pleasure of meeting Lisa in 2020, just before COVID, when I was searching for my first Persian kitten. After speaking with her, I drove all the way to Virginia to visit her cattery and see another cat I had in mind. From the moment we arrived, Lisa was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Interestingly, the cat I initially wanted wasn’t very forthcoming with us, but everything happens for a reason-we ended up choosing our first orange Persian, whom we named Phelix. He truly became our joy during COVID. Phelix is exceptionally well-mannered, impeccably trained with his litter box, and has brought endless love and happiness into our home. This past year, I returned to Lisa’s cattery and purchased my first shaded Persian, Lady Penelope. She came into my life during a very difficult time, and she has been such a light in my home. Her presence has provided comfort, companionship, and the kind of unconditional love that only an animal can give. I am forever grateful to Lisa for her professionalism, care, and dedication. It is clear that all of her cats are raised with love and attention. When she entrusts them to their new families, you can see the emotion in her eyes- she truly loves each one deeply and wants the very best for them. Thank you, Lisa, for bringing Phelix and Penelope into my life. They mean more to me than words can express.

Lisa, we’ve decided to name him frosty and he is such a joy. He has so much self-confidence and he comes when he’s called and he enjoyed being down at the Cottage at the river when we left this morning. He didn’t like all the curves in the roads for a while, but he soon settle down. We’re now home and he has to content with two cats, but they are out and around him and he just looks at him like OK I’m here I just wanted to tell you thank you again for raising such a wonderful and adorable kitten. He is everything I wanted and more. I’ll send pictures soon.

This is one of the many reasons I respect you so much. Even when faced with competition from backyard breeders and bargain-priced kittens, you continue to put the health and well-being of the cats first. The referral that was received by the person looking to find a reputable breeder speaks volumes about your character. The people who truly understand the value of an ethically bred Persian appreciate all that you do. Thank you for maintaining such high standards and your unconditional love for your beautiful Persians! Hugs to you and the Persians.

I have known you for many years and have loved watching you raise the most beautiful silvers.

I bought my first Silver Chinchilla Persian at a cat show when I was 19 years old and $300 was a LOT of money to me, practically a week’s wages. My first Silver was my sweet boy for almost 20 years. Silver’s really do have their own personality. My guess is besides having “royal blood”, everyone is just amazed at how beautiful they are and they get used to being admired.
When I decided to get another Silver, I found Ghost Cat Manor in Winchester, VA. I was living in Northern VA at the time. I decided to meet Lisa at her home to pick from her current litter. When we arrived all the little furry Silvers were together. All but one were normal little furball kittens. BUT one of the litter was jumping on the others and just being a character. THAT was my cat!
And when he was ready to rest, he went off to himself not to be bothered and annoyed by his siblings like he was doing to them! Casper Jr. is still the same character today as he was when he was a kitten. The time Lisa spends socializing her kittens really shows as they grow up to become beautiful and loving pets.
